Tom's Creek Baptist Youth
Our commitment here at Tom's Creek Baptist Church is to grow spiritually strong young men and women for Jesus Christ by bringing Christian adults and youth together. The interaction should help shape our youth in the areas of Biblical understanding, personal life commitments, and life in the body of Christ. This is a work of the Holy Spirit using the church to equip and train students for His work. For this to happen we provide meeting s designed for the unique needs of teens. Regular contact with God is a must if we are to succeed in the commitment.

Missions
Today’s youth are not content to have a meeting and absorb information. They want more out of their walk with God than just more to think about. They want to put their faith in action! This summer here at Tom’s Creek they will have two weeks worth of hands on missions work to do. Faith will be put to the test. In Jesus they will pass!
- World Changers
- World Changers is a youth mission which stretches our youth out of their comfort zone and into the mission field. This year’s destination is East St. Louis, Missouri. At World Changers we will minister to families in need of vital home repairs. During the week we will reach out with the love of Christ and share our testimonies with the homeowners and whoever will listen for that matter. Each night youth will worship God with music and ministry. Practical hands on acts of love actually earn for us the right to be herd. We hope to see lives changed as a result of this witness. The good thing about World Changers is that it is not just a quick trip and it is over. Our youth have been focused on this trip for over four months by the time we will leave. Prayer, weekly and daily Bible, and evangelism training, are some of the extras that will go in to our preparation for World Changers. The World Changers class meets in the youth room in the Family Life Center. It is too late to sign up for this year’s World Changers trip but the trip is for students 6th –college age and you have to have been a member of the church for six months before you can go in on this year’s mission trip.
