Spiritual Growth
God has told us that once we are born into the family of God that we are to mature as Christians. To increase your faith you must increase your understanding of what God has commanded us to do. By studying God's word together we become strong as individuals and as a church.
Weekly Ministries
- Sunday School
- Every Sunday morning classes are available for all ages of people. These are broken up into age categories until after college, and then we offer classes available based on preference. We seek to offer opportunities for everyone to grow deeper with God as often as possible. Sunday school is a smaller group, thus making it easier for discussion and interaction.
- Discipleship Training
- Every Sunday evening prior to our worship service we offer discipleship classes. These range from True Love Waits classes for teenagers, to parenting and finance classes for adults. We believe that faith should affect every aspect of life and thus we offer Godly perspectives on life in discipleship training.
- Music
- At Tom’s Creek our music ministry is a ministry that we seek to make available to everyone. God has gifted many people musically and we want to allow them to use their gifts to minister, disciple, and even evangelize. Adult Choir- Our adult choir consists of about 50 members. They practice on Wednesday nights and then prior to each service. Children’s Choir- Our Children’s choir is available to children 4 years to the 6th grade. These children meet Wednesday nights prior to church.
- Youth
- The youth at Tom’s Creek are not looked upon as a separate church, but as a vital part to our congregation. We seek to involve them in every ministry we have, but we also have some ministries specifically designed to reach, disciple, and equip the youth to live a life for Christ. Immersion- Immersion is the name of our Youth group. They meet on Wednesday nights for worship, games, preaching, and of course, food.
- Children
- The children ministries at Tom’s Creek are not baby-sitting jobs. We truly value the time we are allowed to work with children and seek to impact their lives with the Gospel as much as we would a grown adult. Children are a vital part to our church’s ministry and we seek to instill within them a love of God, His people, and His word. Every worker that interacts with children has undergone a thorough background check to protect the children. RA GA
